She cracks me up especially when she had Zuko tip her his unlimited black card while she was working at the club. I’m having a really hard time getting into this book because the female narrators voice sounds complexly AI generated with a slight Midwestern mom lilt to it. I 1000% love everything about this book between the two main characters the storyline the fact that they have such a funny witty back-and-forth banter between them, spice between them between you know everything there’s a little bit of sexual tension there is spice and then there’s you know a little bit of violence with the main character and some other characters and you know it’s just all around funny book. Zuko, one of the Hunters, knows what he wants and he isn't afraid to do whatever he needs to do to get exactly that. It's a fun read however with lots of back and forth but we don't get into the nitty gritty and this story had so much more to give.

T.L Smith consistently provides us with refreshing spicy scenes, it’s not always the same ol same ol. Even tho she and Zuko were different, she still matched his craziness 😆 They were such a hot and cute couple (yes cute, you will see once you read). There’s an extremely serious element in this story, one that Alaska has to work through, but it is a real-life element and it’s handled extremely well. There are some possible triggers and the author does warn readers so take notice, I didn’t find them to be a problem though. A all-new standalone enemies-to-lovers, serial killers and hidden identities, where the Villain always gets the girl even if she sets his house on fire. I did like the story overall, but I would have liked the characters fleshed out a little more, especially Zuko and his brothers. I’m more harsh towards dark romances so I easily noticed all the plot holes and corny dialogue, but maybe that’s just me being picky.

T.L Smith truly is a mastermind of the anti-hero in her stories and Moments of Malevolence is no different.Nevertheless, I enjoyed the characters Alaska and Zuko and I'm definitely intrigued by Zuko's brothers Kyson and Kenzo so that I'll come back to the Hunter brothers, wanting more of this world. One of those men is Zuko and after he hears her talk, he immediately asks what her name is and of course she says her real name.

The writing was off, the dialogue didn’t always feel natural, and their personalities just couldn’t be nailed down. Honestly, I think she’s perfect for Zuko, and likewise he is for her, she centres him and doesn’t take any nonsense.I absolutely love an alpha male and that's what these characters have so much chemistry between them both it's sizzling hot and I love the spice between them both I feel it's perfect. The characters are not very likable, Atlanta is like a petulant child and her reactions were just extreme, zuko is into near death sex and needs more depth with his character. I love the two main characters, they both are seriously messed up and broken, completely own it and just fit together in a really weird and dis-functioning way. I love the huntsman and was so happy to see that TL was writing them because I know these boys are going to open up so many kinky doors. If you don’t catch up with her in her home state of Queensland, Australia you can usually find her travelling the world, either sitting on a beach in Bali or exploring Alcatraz in San Francisco or walking the streets of New York. I don’t want to spoil anything, but there’s a scene that will literally shock you and make you fan yourself at the same time. Some of the others laugh, agreeing with him, before he smiles at me and says, "Cover your ears, Trouble. I do think that there was some parts that were strange, disrespectful, and cringe but I got through it and felt like that was there personalities. Hmm, there are a few things going on concurrently in this story and I can’t wait to read the next two books to see how everything pans out. As a first time mom to a handsome 5 month old son, I kinda felt unattractive but after reading this book. This book is the first one in this trilogy and it hooks you right in from the beginning with all the hate, drama, betrayal, hurt, lies, family, friends and love.
