The G Pro and G403 are effectively identical in terms of underlying mechanical and electrical functionality, and are differentiated almost exclusively by the shell of the mouse.

It's a well-built mouse with a good number of programmable inputs that you can customize through software. Get ready for a mouse with next-level 1:1 tracking, 100-16,000 max DPI sensitivity range, and zero smoothing, filtering, or acceleration.The closest competitor to this (that we are aware of) is the SteelSeries Sensei, which tests at -1dBm. GN's Mike Gaglione, co-host in the video review of these mice, used both devices heavily for competitive Battlefield and FPS gaming. Again, GN's Mike didn't like this one quite as much -- he found it too small, forcing the fingers forward and over the front of the keyplates. The DeathAdder, for instance, has a keyplate that can flex under load because the keyplate is acting as the deformable element. But again, the latest trends have been to reduce weight and improve wireless functionality -- two efforts that seemingly go hand-in-hand.

The Logitech G403 HERO and the Logitech G Pro Wireless are very similar in performance since they use the same sensor; however, there are some differences between them in terms of feature and shape.

Although all of its buttons are programmable, but it doesn't have nearly as many side buttons as a dedicated MMO gaming mouse. With rubber grips on the left and right sides to give you added control, the G403 Prodigy was made to mold to your hand for long-lasting comfort during gameplay. It doesn't have a default button for profile switching, but you can always map it to one of the buttons through G HUB. So if you're looking for a larger mouse, and aren't completely on-board the "ultra-lightweight" train, I definitely think the G403 is a good choice.This is less sophisticated than the G900 and we don't think it has as even a distribution of force across the keyplate, but it also works better than some competing mice.
