It is well written with great character development, unexpected twists and an even better story of love, pain, fiction, thriller, fantasy and literature. I love how the back and forth hate flirting helps Lynsey totally be herself with no filtering to impress a guy or to come across as something she isn’t. The way he treated her in the beginning and the things he said, he cannot chalk it up to his trauma and nor did he ever apologize for them. I loved however how their time together slowly opens him up so that he’s no longer such a closed-off man, even if he can’t see it.
